Midterm Elections - Part II: How does it affect advisers?

So now that Congress has turned a pleasant shade of blue, how is this going to affect advisers? Investment Advisor Magazine interviewed Liz Ann Saunders, Schwab’s chief investment strategist to see what she thought:

She sums it up in the first few sentences:

“What does this mean for advisers and their clients? I don’t think it means a heck of a lot. I think there will be a lot of rhetoric now that may cause some issues with the market, particularly at the sector level. There will be a lot of hearings, so there is some uncertainty. But as far as actual policy change, I think that will be limited—certainly in the Senate.
