It’s finally happened

Matt is now married to a wonderful woman. Those of us who know Matt really thought this would never happen. It’s not that he was not interested; it’s just that he never slowed down long enough to meet someone and form a relationship.

He started in our industry at FCSI working for support and development. He moved to Colorado to work for Investment Advisory Network and decided to start his own company…. Techfi.

That’s where I met him. In the Techfi heyday it was not uncommon to work an 80 hour week and 100 hour weeks certainly happened. Throw in several trips to meet prospects and go to conferences and you can see how difficult it would be to meet someone.

After Techfi, Matt was able to slow down and he met someone. I consider myself a good friend of Matt’s and can say he can be difficult at times. When Matt decides to do something you start now and you go all in (this by the way makes him difficult to play in poker). He is not real prompt and is always in creative mode.

Basically Matt is an artist, but now rather than music and fake id’s he creates businesses and he’s pretty good at it. I certainly enjoy working with him and from the people at the wedding so do many others.

Stefanie is level-headed; she is organized and keeps the day to day stuff running that Matt tends to overlook (like paying the power and cable bill, right Matt?). She is in many ways his compliment and those of us who make plans with Matt are very happy she is around.

When you really need to get in touch with Matt, you do it through Stefanie. Matt is not very good at answering emails or phone calls; interrupts the creative process you know. But Stefanie will, and she cuts it down to just what Matt needs to know. Heck even Matt’s Mother calls Stefanie to get a hold of Matt.

Top all this off with Stefanie’s great sense of humor and intelligent conversation and she is a great match for Matt. Congratulations Matt; May you have a long and happy future together.
