Investment News has a great article on Morningstar’s performance since their IPO in 2005. Amazing is the only word for it. Check out their performance against the Nasdaq and S&P over the last few years. Keep in mind that’s a logarithmic scale.

The article goes on to discuss what Morningstar has in the works for the next year.

• Building out Morningstar Advisor Workstation.

Unfortunately, the article is sparse on details about building out the Advisor Workstation product. That’s one of the most interesting projects going on in our industry in recent years, and there’s are relatively few articles written about it.
