I’ve been creating technology for advisors, brokers and planners for 15 years. I’ve been involved in various successful startups and have built several portfolio management, contact management, and trading systems. I currently run FinFolio and am developing portfolio management software for investment advisors, planners, and money managers:
Techfi was my last company. We made Portfolio 2000—portfolio management software that competed with Advent Axys, Schwab Centerpiece and Albridge (StatementOne). We also created AdvisorMart.com, the industry’s first web-based portfolio management product. First Trust/FISERV and Morningstar were Techfi shareholders. We sold the company to Advent Software in 2002 who, sadly, no longer sells or supports the software. You can read more about Techfi here: Farewell to Portfolio 2000.
Before Techfi, I built the technology platform for another successful startup, Investment Advisory Network (IAN). I also worked for Dave Huxford at dbCAMS+ and have consulted on technology to advisers.
